Quality and Compliance Technician




About the role

A great opportunity to join our clients quality team and play an important role in maintaining their compliance to ISO and other accreditations.

As a Quality and Compliance Technician you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating current status and actions for, environmental and health & safety compliance activities including legal register, risk assessments, COSHH records, audits and KPIs.

You will conduct internal audits against ISO quality, environmental and health & safety standards and investigate hazard & accident reports.

Identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of products and processes is a key part of the role.

About you

You will have completed an appropriate engineering qualification, for example a City & Guilds, HNC.  You will hold a NEBOSH or IOSH managing safely certificate, alongside an ISO internal audit qualification.

You will have a proven working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.

Experience of auditing against ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards is advantageous, as is experience of DSEAR, PSSR and LEV regulations.

You will have the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment.  You must be able to work cross-functionally and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  You will be able to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively.  You will be able to organise and present data effectively.
